Federal Experience Profile
PHR+A's Federal sector portfolio encompasses engineering, planning and surveying involvement on significant projects for both military and civilian agencies throughout the Mid-Atlantic region. Services have been provided for over a dozen Federal agencies and four branches of the U.S. military at numerous Federal facilities and military installations.

PHR+A's most notable projects involve new construction of major Federal office buildings, research and laboratory facilities, museum complexes, and the analysis and design of utility system renovations and expansions. In addition, PHR+A has played a major role in providing anti-terrorism/force protection upgrades to numerous Naval installations within the District of Columbia (e.g., Naval District Washington).

As the Department of Defense and other Federal agencies grapple with budgetary constraints, an aging infrastructure requires an ever-increasing cost effective maintenance and replacement program. PHR+A brings a full complement of investigative, planning and design services relative to water, wastewater and transportation systems as well as telecommunications, gas and electric utilities.

These services include water and wastewater design; road and bridge improvements and/or replacement; and telecommunication, gas, and electric distribution facilities in both aerial and underground environments. In addition, we have the knowledge and expertise to assist in perimeter security improvements, environmental compliance reviews, base beautification projects, new facility design and general site improvements.
