Rust Inducted into Academy of Eng. Excellence
On May 1, Thomas Davis Rust, PE, AICP, Chairman of the Board of Directors of PHR+A, received Virginia Tech’s highest engineering award – induction into the Academy of Engineering Excellence. Rust is a Virginia Tech alumnus, earning his Bachelor of Science degree in civil engineering in 1965. At the induction ceremony, Rust commented, “I have been fortunate over the years to receive a number of acknowledgements and awards but to receive the highest award from your alma mater is truly one of my greatest honors.” Rust was chosen to receive the award for his lifetime achievements and contributions to the engineering profession.
