City of Falls Church Selects PHR+A
View Other News Headlines

PHR+A has been chosen as the “top ranked firm” by the City of Falls Church, Virginia to provide Landscape Architectural and Engineering services for the design of the West End and Hamlett/Rees Parks. Falls Church public officials want to “show case” these parks with new “gateways” on to West Broad Street (Route 7), the “Main Street” through the City. The West End Park, located next to the W&OD Trail, currently serves as a hub for the community and will be expanded to include walking trails with a skate board amenity. The Hamlett/Rees Park will be a new nature park with context-sensitive trails that will provide an important pedestrian link and educational opportunities for the community. Design is scheduled to begin in May and construction is scheduled to begin in late 2008.
